“The Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing project is a public-private partnership that will provide for a safe and sustainable passage for wildlife across U.S. 101 in the City of Agoura Hills, Los Angeles County, California. At this location, U.S. Route 101 is an eight-lane highway that trends in an east-west direction between the Santa Monica Mountains to the south and the Simi Hills and Santa Susana Mountains to the north. The highway has become a formidable and virtually impenetrable barrier for many wildlife species that inhabit and travel between these mountain ranges, and ultimately the Sierra Madre Mountain Range to the north. ” Read more and view the Storymap: https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/238cf48c276a4762813de5f6e53f4344
