The Tataviam Child Welfare Program allows the Tribe to advocate for Fernandeño Tataviam children involved in child welfare. The Tribe asserts that its children have a right to their future as Tribal Citizens and to grow in their cultural heritage.

Feeding Our Families

Food Delivery Program

Through this program, the Tribe delivers healthy and sustainable foods to families that are in need.

Community Feasts

The Tribe has hosted community gatherings with large feasts since time immemorial. These seasonal gatherings are a continuity of traditional practices and celebration of us as one.

Cultural Arts

Arts Workshops

The arts cultivate Fernandeño Tataviam culture, ideologies, and generations of stories. Through storytelling, beading, basketry, sewing, and dancing workshops, with and for the community, the Tribe honors its heritage, customs, and new traditions.

Drug Prevention

Opioid Education

The Tribe identified a need to address substance-use, including destigmatizing and providing the knowledge and tools necessary for avoidance to families.
