The USDA Forest Service, in partnership with California State University Northridge (CSUN), the Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians, the Tataviam Land Conservancy, and CAL FIRE held a summer convening of the Southern California Inflation Reduction Act Urban and Community Forestry program awardees on July 18th at California State University Northridge. This convening was designed to foster collaboration and resource sharing among the diverse projects, and provided a platform to explore synergies, enhance the impact of each project group’s individual efforts, and collectively advance our commitment to urban sustainability.
