The Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians is seeking a Director of Education and Cultural Learning to lead the Tribe’s education and cultural programs grounded in Tataviam identity, values, and sovereignty.

This leadership role guides youth and adult learning, cultural curriculum development, scholarships, and community‑centered education while strengthening partnerships with schools, colleges, and Native‑serving organizations. The Director works closely with Elders, cultural practitioners, staff, and Tribal citizens to support learning across generations.

We are looking for a committed leader with experience in Indigenous education, program management, and team leadership who is dedicated to preserving culture and supporting the success of our people.
