Each year the FTBMI’s Tribal Monitors engage with landscapes that contain known Tribal Cultural Resources to hone their skills in resource identification and management. They also learn about the scientific aspects of cultural resources through trusted experts. This year, one of our monitors discovered a new resource on a site that’s been well observed and documented.

The Tribal Monitors are employed by the Tribe’s Cultural Resources Management Division, housed within the Tribal Historic and Cultural Preservation Department.

Great job monitors!!!
